Notifications
The notification log is the family's record of everything the school has sent — each entry typed, dated and attributed, so a conversation about what a school did or didn't communicate has an answer.

Event types
| Type | Sent when |
|---|---|
| ReportCard | A report card run is dispatched. The PDF comes with it. |
| Performance | A teacher records something about how a student is doing — a below-average result, for instance. |
| Announcement | School-wide news: exam dates moving, a closure, an event. |
| LateArrival | A student arrives late to a course. |
| Exam | Exam scheduling and updates. |
| Assignment | Work assigned to a student. |
Reading the log
- Filter by Event type to separate announcements from notes about one student.
- Read the sender — a school announcement and a teacher's note about your child look different because they are different.
- Open a
ReportCardentry to get the PDF that was dispatched with it.
Alerts are generated, not typed
Attendance and performance notifications come from events recorded in the office and use the templates a school picked in Settings — which is why the wording is consistent across a term.
